I would like to take a moment to let you know what a positive experience I recently had with your law firm. This August, we listed my father’s house for sale and this morning was the closing.
The house was part of his estate, and his 3 daughters (I am the eldest) were the sellers. To complicate matters, we live in three different states, Connecticut, NJ and NC and as such, matters often took a little longer due to emails, faxes, scans and the like. We were told that our buyers were using your firm, and that for a small additional fee for deed preparation you would handle all aspects of the closing. We considered obtaining our own attorney due to our complicating issues, but ultimately decided to just go with your group.
I cannot tell you how glad I am that we used you folks! I had nothing but positive experiences every time I made contact with your office. From the receptionist fielding my calls, to paralegal Angie Turner, to John Hedrick, the escrow officer who prepared the papers. They were all pleasant, courteous, professional and diligent. They returned calls and emails promptly, remained in steady contact with me as I tried to keep our signatures and paperwork rolling in to your office so that the closing could happen on time. When Angie had a day off at a crucial point for us, she let me know the day before and admonished me to request John’s assistance. They were both outstanding. I am so impressed that I feel compelled to sing their praises to you!
By way of comparison, I have had experience with several other law firms down in NC relating to my father’s business (will, estate and similar) and they all pale in comparison. I cannot tell you how many calls and emails went unreturned or took days and days to send answers. I actually gave up on trying to get any information from the woman who wrote my father’s will. I once called and asked for ANYONE to call me back, all to no avail. But I digress.
Please know that you have a fine staff in that office. If I lived down there I would send everyone I know to you for their closing. As it is, I will definitely let the real estate agent know about my experience so that she can refer clients. If you have a testimonials page, feel free to use my comments.
